This handmade wooden altar is made of maple plywood and stained. The design has been burned into the wood. This technique makes the image permanent and it will never fade, chip or peel. The altar is approximately 15.5 x 11.5 inches and 1/2 inch thick and it lays flat, with no legs. The back and sides are also stained and sealed, so no raw wood is exposed. This altar comes in two designs.

Please note, stains may vary in shade based on variations in the natural wood patterns. Each piece will be unique due to the grain pattern, knots or other characteristics of the wood used. An oil based stain and polyurethane sealant have been used in making this product.
